Good luck man, hope all goes well. My bro went there, dropped out though. My cousin went there, graduated with perfect attendance and all that BS and still no job. Just letting you know their experiences. Some people get lucky other dont.
They both tell me it was a waste of time and money, plus they're still paying off their loans.
If you go with a open mind and take in everything you can any school is good. If you go in thinking you know everything you learn nothing and then it is a waist of time.
Don't take classes you don't need like hot rod building carburetors are dead. Pay very close attention in engine management and the electrical classes. You will be doing more wiring then you would think if you land a job in the field. Every one is good with mechanical theory the ones that struggle in my shop are bad with electrical theory and engine management basics.
If you land an interview with a shop don't tell them how great you are with cars tell them what you learned and what your goals are working for them. My boss will not hire know it alls.
Focus on graduating not so much a 4.0 shops don't care if you had sleight As.
My shop hires people that have gone to school over ones that haven't. Yes the field is slowing down at the moment and its hard to land a job. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up.
